Fuller brows don’t necessarily require a salon treatment, or a permanent commitment.
If your brows are naturally sparse, have been overplucked in the past, or simply need a little more definition, the right combination of tint, fill and hold can make a noticeable difference.
The key is working with the brow hair you already have, rather than trying to draw on an entirely new brow.
Step 1: Tint the hairs you can’t see
One of the easiest ways to make brows appear fuller is to tint them.
Brows often contain fine, lighter hairs that are barely visible without colour. Tinting these hairs can make the overall brow look denser and more defined - without adding a single pencil stroke.
The Alison Jade Brow Tint Kit is designed to make this easy to do at home, with more than 30 applications per kit. Choose the shade that best suits your colouring and focus on creating soft, natural definition rather than going unnecessarily dark.
Tip: If you have sparse brows, don't assume a darker tint will make them look fuller. Choosing the right shade generally creates a much more natural result.

Step 2: Fill the gaps - not the entire brow
Once your brows are tinted, you may find you need far less brow makeup than you expected.
Instead of colouring in the entire brow, use a Brow Crayon only where you need extra density.
Concentrate on gaps, sparse areas and anywhere the natural shape needs a little more structure. Keep your strokes light and follow the direction of your natural hair growth.
For an especially natural finish, use fine, hair-like strokes through the front and sparser areas rather than creating one solid block of colour.
The goal isn't to be able to see the brow product. It's to make it look like there are simply more hairs there.

Step 3: Brush everything through
This is the step people often underestimate.
Use a Duo Brow Brush to brush through the brow after filling. This helps soften any obvious product, distribute colour and reveal areas that genuinely need more definition.
Brush the hairs slightly upwards and outwards to make the brow appear naturally fuller.
And if you've accidentally been a little heavy-handed with your brow crayon? A good spoolie can save the day.
Step 4: Hold the hairs in place
Finally, add hold.
Brow Lock can be used to lift and set the hairs into position, helping you make the most of the brow hair you already have.
Rather than brushing every hair vertically upwards, follow the natural direction of your brow. Lift through the front and gradually brush the hairs more outward as you move towards the tail.
This creates fullness and shape without the overly laminated effect - unless, of course, that's the look you're going for.

The formula is simple: tint + fill + hold
You don't necessarily need more brow hair to create the appearance of fuller brows.
Tint makes lighter hairs more visible.
Fill disguises gaps and sparse areas.
Hold lifts and positions your existing hairs to create shape and density.
Together, they can create a fuller-looking brow while still allowing your natural brows to look like your natural brows.
And unlike microblading, you can change the shape, colour and finish whenever you want.
