Spring 2025 Paris Fashion Week Beauty Trends
The Spring/Summer 2025 shows in Paris delivered a whirlwind of viral moments. From Kylie Jenner’s stunning Coperni debut to a vibe of uninhibited creativity that permeated the runways.
The beauty looks? Equally show-stopping. Dries Van Noten stunned with bold coloured mascaras, Balmain made waves with impossibly sleek blowouts, and Dior gave us the ultimate in chic, low-maintenance ponytails. It seems as though the underlying message for beauty trends in 2025 was hugely exaggerated or barely there natural.
Here are some of the standout beauty trends fresh from the SS25 Paris runways.
Exaggerated Eyes
At Ganni, Dries Van Noten, and Loewe, the eyes stole the spotlight. Bold washes of colour like arctic blue and deep coral framed the lashes. Ganni showcased feathery false lashes at the outer corners added a touch of fantasy. The following day, Dries Van Noten showcased fiery lashes with swipes of yellow and magenta mascara. Loewe, under Pat McGrath’s magic, dazzled with oversized gold-glitter crescents above the eyes.
Satin Blowouts
Ok so not a makeup trend but these sleek blow outs needed a mention. Glossy blow dries were a runway staple at Balmain and Courrèges. At Courrèges, models’ hair was styled to perfection, complemented by long, statement tassel earrings that wrapped artfully around the ear. Paired with bold black eyeliner and soft, natural lashes, the look balanced futuristic flair with elegant simplicity.
Gothic Grunge Eyeliner
Think grunge makeup but make it chic. Dior featured perfectly flawless skin with minimal contouring. The focus was on the smudged black liner around the eyes. It’s looking like a blacked-out waterline and tightline are a sexy vibe in 2025 and we are here for it.
Metallic Accents
Want to take your look to the next level? Add a touch of metallic. Miu Miu, not to be outdone, featured metallic lip liner on the Cupid’s bow, creating a jewellery-inspired effect that made lips gleam. We’ve seen an increasing trend in people coating their lids with iridescent or metallic shadows and we are here for it.
Boho Chic
In case you haven’t heard, “boho chic” bounced back. Boho makeup is all about glistening skin while using minimal product. Think darker feathered brows and soft pretty pink lips. Add a touch of bronzer for a natural Sunkissed look and you have the perfect boho makeup look.
